BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that brings many benefits to the practitioner. Not only are their physical rewards, but there are also mental rewards as the martial art helps to relieve stress and promote a positive attitude.


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that teaches a smaller person how to defend himself against a larger adversary by using leverage and proper technique. The early Brazilian practioners, modified judo and traditional Japanese jujutsu to create the art. It contains stand-up maneuvers, but it is most famous for its devastating ground-fighting techniques. Gaining superior positioning so one can apply the style’s numerous chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations on an opponent is the key in BJJ.


Grappling Bros' programs were developed through many years of teaching experience. We offers progressive learning with a focus on technical, yet fundamental system. All programs can be individualised per the students needs, goals and skill level.

Through our technical and modern drills, we are able to bring out the skills and talents from each of our students. Grappling Bros' teachings are in a logical sequence of classes accelerating the learning process. In our programs, we are able to minimise injuries, avoiding risky techniques and bad sparring habits. We teach our students how to be safe and train safe.


All Grappling Bros programs were designed to help our students achieve their goals, get in shape, learn self defense and to learn competition level Brazilian jiu-jitsu in a friendly non threatening, family environment.

Grappling Bros has always been focused on teaching children, teens and adults of all ages confidence, self-discipline, moral character, safety and family values through martial arts. The benefits of this philosophy are apparent in every student currently enrolled in one of our programs at our Brazilian jiu jitsu and martial arts academy.
