Thalison Soares is a multiple times Jiu Jitsu world champion, world acclaimed competitor and Professor of Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling.
His repeated success on the mat makes him one of the most successful Jiu Jitsu athletes of all time
Making his international debut in 2016 as a juvenile blue belt, he immediately took the world by storm winning the IBJJF World Championship in Gi & No Gi followed by the European Open.
Thalison’s brilliance on the mat continued throughout each coloured belt division where he conquered the IBJJF Grand Slam (European Championship, Pan Americans, Brazilian Nationals and World Championships) for 3 years in a row!
In 2019 Thalison was awarded his Black Belt from his Professor Cicero Costha. He won the Black Belt No Gi World Championship in 2019 and beat Bruno Malfacine (10x World Champion) in his first year as Black Belt.
